597. Vi har et håp

Vers 1

Vers 2

Herlige håp som i vårt hjerte bor,

håpet som Gud gav dem som tror.

Håpet om Kristi gjenkomst til vår jord

vil vi forkynne høyt i kor.

Tidens fylde nærmer seg,

da all verden, du og jeg

våkne skal med sang og rop:

Halleluja, Krist vårt håp!

Frydefullt rop fra frelste høyt i kor:

Jesus er nær, halleluja!

Refreng

We have this hope that burns within our hearts,

Hope in the coming of the Lord.

We have this faith that Christ alone imparts,

Faith in the promise of His Word.

We believe the time is here,

When the nations far and near

Shall awake, and shout, and sing:

Hallelujah, Christ is King!

We have this hope that

burns within our hearts,

Hope in the coming of the Lord.
